My name is Thomas Kandler. I am currently studying geography and working on my thesis for the bachelor’s degree. I like tea, my bicycle, books, music, most recently aikido, art and oodles of other stuff.
To give you a nice and short summary of what you probably can’t understand on the other pages (well, Google Translation does a pretty neat job here – try it):
I create websites following some basic rules
- handcraft: my clients get hand-coded – never template-based – work, I also like to make sketches on paper
- minimalism: websites should be light and swift as a bee without unnecessary clutter
- usability: form follows function
- creativity: new approaches, fresh ideas, sparkling unused mindsets – that’s what it’s about
- accessibility: internet is freedom – why should websites build limitations?
I use HTML, CSS, PHP, Wordpress, Textpattern, Linux, GIMP, Inkscape, Geany and a bunch of other nifty tools.
